Το έργο αφορά την συνεργασία 7 Ευρωπαϊκών σχολείων με σκοπό την ευαισθητοποίηση των μαθητών σχετικά με τους παγκόσμιους στόχους βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης που έχει θέσει ο ΟΗΕ.
Οι στόχοι για την βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη (ΣΒΑ) είναι μία δέσμη στόχων που αφορά την μελλοντική διεθνή ανάπτυξη. Θεσπίστηκαν από τα Ηνωμένα Έθνη και προβλήθηκαν ως οι παγκόσμιοι στόχοι για την βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη. Αντικατέστησαν τους στόχους ανάπτυξης για την χιλιετία, των οποίων το χρονοδιάγραμμα επίτευξης εξέπνευσε στο τέλος του 2015. Οι ΣΒΑ θα υλοποιηθούν από το 2015 έως το 2030. Η δέσμη αποτελείται από 17 στόχους και 169 συνδεόμενους σκοπούς με αυτούς τους στόχους (πηγή: Wikipedia)

About the project
The UN Global Goals are important, world-changing objectives that will require cooperation among governments, international organizations and world leaders ( http://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/sustainable-development-goals/). But what can the average person or students do? We believe that we can have an impact starting from education. Our project ImaginAction will lead students to work together in national groups and transnational teams by exchanging ideas and suggestions on different challenges they will have to face up to 2030. We hope they will also take actions and imagine creative ways to raise awareness. We believe that the participation of the students in sharing and giving their opinion on current global challenges can help fight the threats to stability we are currently witnessing and to be prepared to stand for a better future. Their collaborative e-magazine and radio channel will enable them to share their ideas and opinions with their peers and the world.
Aims of the project
To introduce sustainable development goals to young people & unite them in action. To develop communication skills in a foreign language; to develop creativity, collaborative writing & digital skills; to develop critical thinking skills when looking for, selecting and organizing relevant information on a chosen topic; to stimulate curiosity & learn to approach each radio program in a critical way; to develop media education; to write scripts and edit different types of radio shows (interviews, talks, debates, reports, drama, short stories, documentary, news, reviews...); to get familiar with the roles in a radio station & how it works; to develop digital competence; to learn basic script writing & audio editing skills; to use collaborative web tools for publishing, editing, commenting & rating programs; to communicate efficiently with both classmates & partners abroad; to encourage collaborative learning skills; to develop intercultural skills; to encourage initiative & self-expression
Work process
Student-journalists from various European countries interact & collaborate in international teams from early October 2018 to late May 2019. First they study the UN sustainable development goals. Working in national groups they find examples of each problem in their local environment & show how the global issues are tackled in their countries. Interacting in international teams they can go further and propose other solutions. They express themselves through a variety of media: infographics, a school web-radio channel including a podcast for each goal (composing their theme music, writing radio scripts and editing podcasts), possibly video material too. Older students with experience in eTwinning will guide and support their younger mates all along the project. Teachers organise the students’ international collaboration; teach about information research, radio script-writing, audio-editing, publishing online; plan the guidelines and activities & assess the results.
Expected results
A radio channel created for and by European students including radio programmes in a foreign language (English) published online in a magazine with an organised structure and containing shows recorded by all teams involved, about the various UN Global Goals, and available at school, in the local community and worldwide.
